Is your site all about YOU… or your CUSTOMERS? (And do you know which is best?)
Here’s our salescopy tip of the day…
When you write the copy for your website you have to make sure that you do a good job of relating to your customers. You need to identify with their wants and needs and explain how your product will make their lives better.
… In short, you have to make your copy all about THEM, not YOU.
This might sound obvious, but it’s actually one of the biggest mistakes we see online business owners make!
In a recent newsletter, we did a free site review for one of our subscribers and showed her how a few easy tweaks to her salescopy could help her do a better job of relating to her market. If you’re currently struggling with your salescopy or looking for ways to improve the performance of your website, you should definitely check it out.

Wow that was a lot of useful information. What do I have to do to get my site reviewed?
I have recently found your site and enjoy your suggestions on how to use the customers wants and needs. This is very hard for people to understand. You must tell the customers what this product will do for them and why they need it right today.

Building a website is not to difficult if you follow the directions step by step. We guide you every step of the way. Learn how to pick you’re own domain name. How to set up hosting, How to send files to your servers using FTP. How to set up a opt in page and why they are so valuable.
I totally agree. I made those mistakes before and soon learned how it can make a huge change for the better if you have a site that’s also about your costumer and there demands and needs.
I get sick of trawling through websites that talk more about the person who set the site up and how much money they make than what they can do for me! It’s true, it’s far more important for the customer to know what they’re going to benefit from than who is giving it to them!
I think thats rightly said, A website should not be made for yourself, but for your customers.
