Privacy Policy
A privacy policy is a public document that tells your visitors exactly how you’ll use their personal information when they sign up for your opt-in email list. And with the sheer amount of spam in email inboxes around the world these days, creating and posting a privacy policy is a MUST for every email marketer.
A typical privacy policy assures customers that you’ll never rent or sell their email address to any other company without their express permission. Although some privacy policies are in-depth and use a legal tone, a privacy can be just as effective with something simple like this: “We’ll never sell or give your email address to anyone else — ever!”
