Here’s a question for anyone starting out online:

Are you qualified to start an Internet business?

What were your first thoughts when you read this question?

If you’re like most, you probably measure your qualifications by your technical skills…

Your ability to design a web site…

Your ability to write sales copy…

Your ability to drive traffic…

But the reality is, NONE of that matters.

Building a business is a formula. If you can follow a formula and follow instructions you will make money online.

So if it’s that simple, why do SO MANY people fail at it?

There are personality traits, inherent to some and learned by others, that allow some people to easily succeed and others to constantly fail.

If you could identify those traits, wouldn’t you have a better chance at being successful?

I truly believe you would.

So I am going to spend the next 48 hours locked away in my office writing the prerequisites to success online.

The concise, to the point report I am about to create is based on a decade of working with thousands of successful Internet entrepreneurs from around the world.

I will give this to you free… no strings attached.

When you get it, you can do one of two things:

1. Nothing…which is definitely an "unsuccessful trait".

2. Study it and figure out if you inherently have the prerequisites for success or if you need to learn them.

My personal deadline is to have this in your email box by 12pm Sunday morning (Pacific Time). That is my commitment to you.

So if you would like a copy of this report, for FREE, go to:

Download my "Prerequisites For Success" report here:

Please leave me a comment after you’ve read the report, and let me know how you scored, and if fit the profile of a true Internet entrepreneur…

All the best,

Derek Gehl

A good deal? Guess again!

Finding a product to sell… Building your website… Setting up your shopping cart… Optimizing your business for the search engines… It often seems as if starting your own money-making online business involves a heck of a lot of work, doesn’t it?

… Sometimes, don’t you wish you could snap your fingers and have a ready-made business fall into your lap?

I understand the desire for shortcuts…But the truth is, if you don’t put in the work right from the beginning and control as much of your business development as possible, how can you make sure you’ll be able to keep that business alive and growing?

This is what I worry about…

… I worry that your desire for shortcuts will lead you into a deep pit you won’t be able to escape. I don’t want you making any bad decisions that will drain you of valuable time and effort… not to mention money!

And the scary thing is, these kind of risky, go-nowhere shortcuts are being presented to you as "incredible money-making opportunities" all the darned time.

For example, in response to my recent blog post on the challenges currently holding you back, a reader named Lawrence wrote the following:

"Still trying – still spending – getting nowhere. There are good looking websites for sale on eBay.co.uk for around £150 including good domains and the drop shippers already set up perhaps this is a way to to get around the techie prob. and concentrate on marketing alone."

Lawrence, you have to ask yourself: If any of those websites are capable of making ANY sort of money whatsoever, why would their current owners be selling them for only £150?

… Why would someone go to the trouble of doing the market research, building the website, and making the site profitable — only to sell it for a lousy £150???

They wouldn’t. (Not unless they were completely crazy!)

Even if the business was making only £150 a month (which works out to just under U.S. $300), it makes far more sense to continue generating passive income with it than to sell it for a mere month’s worth of profits!

Heck, even if that business was making only £50 (U.S. $100) a month, I’d still hang on to it, rather than sell it!

So in other words, those £150 websites are not, repeat NOT, potential money-makers. And the only thing you’ll get for buying one is a £150 hole in your bank account.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… Beware "business in a box" offers that sound WAY too good to be true!

They probably are.

You’re FAR more likely to achieve success with a business you’ve built yourself, from the ground up, than with a website someone just hands you.

However, if you’re still overwhelmed by all the work needed to get your business off the ground… I have great news.

Starting your own business from scratch really ISN’T all that hard!

In fact, you can do your market research, build your website, set it up for sales, and start seeing orders in less than 1 week!

And later this month, I’m going to show you exactly HOW to make that happen.

I’m going to release a FREE 4-part video course in which I am going to build a brand-new money-making business completely from scratch — in just *4 days flat!*

If you want to to see me go through the entire process of building a business from start to finish — in just 4 days — I invite you to click here to claim your "front-row seat" now.

… And in the meantime, just say "NO!" to any more "short-cut" false opportunities. Take complete control over your own financial destiny NOW.

5 Reasons Why You Haven’t Blasted Off.

You may recall that back in the beginning of January I challenged you to make 2008 the year you finally got a business started online. Well, the first quarter of the year is now over, and I really would like to know:

… Are you making money with your Internet business yet?

How much have you accomplished since January? Are you proud of what you’ve achieved — or frustrated by how little you’ve done?

If not, do you feel like you’re constantly burning rubber and going nowhere?

You need to ask yourself: Why?

There are 5 main reasons you may be suffering from "failure to launch"…

Understanding the reasons will help you blast through to getting your website started.

#1: You’re Overwhelmed and Don’t Know Where to Start

So many different experts say you have to do THIS first, or THAT. And you absolutely MUST buy THIS product, and THAT service — and here’s one that you can’t live without! If you’ve been on a list of the mega-launches lately you’ll know exactly what I mean.

It’s enough to drive you BATTY.

My advice is do some research and find a proven, step-by-step method that walks you through every stage of building a business, so you know exactly WHAT you need to do and WHEN.

… Then stick with that system and follow it straight through from beginning to end — without getting distracted by all the other possibilities out there.

Keep it simple and follow the basics… otherwise, you’ll find yourself trying to run in a dozen different directions at once… and going nowhere fast!

#2: Fear of Technology

I see it when I talk to people at my seminars…

… I suggest they learn to do it themselves first — so they can do as much of their own site management as possible — and their eyes get that "deer caught in the headlights" look.

All I can tell you is, don’t be afraid to learn something new! That old saying, "old dogs can’t learn new tricks" doesn’t apply here.

If you know how to use the computer to write letters… send emails… and surf the Internet, then you have ALL the skills you need to start an online business.

… You just need to know how to put them to good use!

Think of technology as a tool to take your ideas and bring them alive.

Find tools specifically designed so that ANYONE can learn how to use them — even the rawest beginner.

So don’t let fear of the unknown stop you from taking action!

#3: Too Many Solutions to Choose From — And You Don’t Know Who to Trust

You sign up for a few online marketing newsletters, and download a few free eBooks — then BAM! The product offers coming flying at you so fast and furious, it’s like you’re in a meteor storm!

And while you’re busy sorting out which does what, you’re ALSO being told that you’ve got to buy a domain name… and hosting services… and web design services (if you’re not going to design the site yourself)… and possibly copywriting services (if you’re not much of a writer)… not to mention a shopping cart and ordering system…

And then onto Web 2.0, blogging and marketing systems that you absolutely must have to make it big…

… It all leads to paralysis.

The best way to avoid this dilemma is start with the basics. Get your first website up and running – it makes all the difference.

#4: Spending WAY Too Much Money, Way Too Quickly

This goes hand in hand with the last problem… With so many offers bombarding you daily, it’s easy to fall into the trap of buying a bunch of different products all at once.

"It’s a good investment in my business," you tell yourself.

But then you discover that some of those products only work for people who ALREADY have a money-making website… while others don’t really fit your business model… while others are simply a huge waste of money!

… And the next thing you know, you don’t have any time or money left to do the things you really DO need to build your business.

Resist the urge to whip out your wallet at every opportunity!

Like I said earlier, your best chance for success is to buy ONE step-by-step solution that walks you through every stage, and only buy other products when you absolutely KNOW you need them.

Everything you purchase needs to align with your goal.

#5: Holding Out for That "Million-Dollar Baby"

Many people dream of an Internet business that’ll make them hundreds of thousands — or even millions! — of dollars a year. And they think that it’s colossal waste of time to spend a single second on a business that’ll make them anything less than that.

Wake up and smell the coffee, people!

Your first business probably WON’T generate a six-figure income right off the bat. (Yes, it CAN happen… but it’s far more likely your first business will be in the $1,000 – $20,000/year range.)

And you know what? That’s OK! In fact, it’s better than OK.

Every single Internet millionaire I know got started by building just ONE small money-making website. And then another website that made MORE money, and another that made even MORE money — and so on, and so on.

And that’s the best possible way for YOU to grow your online business.

With each website you build, you’ll know more and be able to do it better — which means each new site will make you MORE money than the last.

*But first, you’ve got to get off the couch and get started!*

Remember, every journey begins with a single step — and the path to online success is certainly no exception.

However, that doesn’t mean it has to be an uphill slog!

This April, I’ll be releasing a series of videos that’ll walk you through the steps you need to take to build your own web business in record time… walking you through all the exact steps in real time that you need to take to get it "live". If I can do it, you can too.

In the meantime, I’d like to know what barriers have prevented YOU from leaving the starting gate. Have your business efforts been hampered by one of the 5 reasons above — or has something else stopping you?

Tell me about the challenges you currently face– and I’ll try to address them in the video series.

Please leave me a comment – and let me know what you think!

These qualities are: ACTION, DEDICATION, AND PERSEVERANCE.

(If you haven’t yet watched my free 30-minute instructional video, ‘Reality 101′,
you can view it here: www.marketingtips.com/reality101 )

I’ve discovered that’s not something everyone wants to hear.

Some people don’t want to be told that making an online business will require some hard work on their part.

They want to hold on to their belief that there’s a "magic bean" solution that’ll help them instantly sprout a successful profit-generating website in just a few hours.

… And I wonder, is that because so many false promises are being tossed around the Internet marketing arena these days? Or do so many people really believe that building a "virtual" business involves virtually no work at all?

Do you believe that?

Is that what you’re looking for — a business that requires zero effort on your part?

I really want to know.

So what I’d like to hear from you is, exactly WHY are you interested in starting an online business?

(As opposed to all the thousands of other possible businesses out there.)

What do you hope to gain from your Internet business? What are your goals?

Please leave me a comment and let me know!

Is your business built on quicksand?

FORGET ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT IDEA.

Seriously. Wipe it right out of your head.

Now, I’m not saying that product idea is going to doom your business to failure.

But what I AM saying is this:

When it comes to Internet marketing, it’s not WHAT you sell that counts — it’s WHO you sell it to!

If you don’t take the steps necessary to make 100% sure there is an easily reachable market of people online who WANT TO BUY something you can sell them, then there’s a strong chance you’re building your business on QUICKSAND.

That’s why in all of our programs and courses, the first thing we always, ALWAYS urge you to do is…

I often get emails from people who are psyched to get started online, and have a KILLER product idea they want to base their business on.

Their emails go something like this…

Hi Derek, thanks for all your advice! I know with your help I can make great money online. I want to sell [INSERT PRODUCT IDEA HERE] because it’s my passion — any suggestions on what to do first???

MAKE SURE YOU’RE SELLING TO A NICHE MARKET WITH REAL PROFIT POTENTIAL!!!

By "niche market," I simply mean, a group of people who have a certain problem, and are ACTIVELY looking for a solution online without much luck.

(And of course, they must be willing to pay good money for that solution!)

If you can provide that group of people with a product or service that solves their problem, then your business has a good chance of making money.

BUT: No matter HOW fabulous your product is — if no one is looking to buy that product — or something like it — online, then your business will collapse like a pack of cards.

It’s just that simple.

This isn’t just for beginners, either… Even if you already HAVE an online business, you STILL need to make sure that you’re targeting viable niche market. It’s the only way to make sure your business is built on a solid foundation.

How do you make sure you’ve identified a market with great profit potential?

Simple! Once you’ve done your keyword research with a tool like Keyword Discovery or Wordtracker to identify a potential problem shared by a significant number of people online, you need to research your market online and find the answers to these four important questions:

Is the market easily defined and reachable?

You need to know where they hang out, what publications they read, if they have clubs or events that bring them together, and where they look for or share information online.

Most potential markets will already have places where they congregate. Look for groups, forums, discussion boards, clubs, and special websites — a simple Google search should bring up places to start. Links on any promising sites you find will point to other useful sites.

Is the market small enough that there are not many competitors — but large enough to allow you to make a profit?

You want a small pond, but it still needs enough "fish" in there to make it worth your efforts.

If these competitors look well supplied and well funded, it may be more difficult for a small business to compete for eyeballs, traffic, and PPC keywords. Too much heavy-duty competition is a sign that you should look for a smaller, more precise niche.

Will this market actually have and spend money?

You need to know if these people actually buy stuff!

It’s actually a good sign if there are sites selling products for the market. If related products are being sold profitably, you know there’s a viable market and you should consider these businesses as potential joint venture partners.

Does the group have a ridiculous amount of passion for the hobby or topic?

A motivated market eats, sleeps, and breathes their hobby.

You’re looking for prospects who are so passionate that they must have all the information related to their subject. Think about video gamers or collectors… their obsessive passion is a big reason those markets are so huge!

Admittedly, this is just the tip of the "niche market research" iceberg.

There’s a whole lot more you need to know, in terms of doing quality keyword research and how to find your niche market online. But no matter where you’re at with your research, you always need to keep these four questions in mind.

They’re the questions that will help you determine whether you’re sitting on a sand pit… or a gold mine!

To your success,

Derek Gehl

P.S. Next week I’ll be discussing another one of the the important steps you need to set up your business for success… and I’d like to know what are the three biggest challenges you face.

Information — in the form of eBooks — is THE best thing to sell when you are starting an Internet business.

After all, when you sell an eBook you can make countless duplications of it at NO additional cost. Your manufacturing, stocking, packaging AND delivery costs are non-existent.

That means your profit margin is 100%!

But did you know that you can multiply the profits of an existing business by giving an eBook away — for FREE?

"How can you make money by giving something away for free?" you ask?

It’s simple… you create a free eBook stuffed with tons of valuable information, and then use it as a VIRAL marketing tool, encouraging people to download it, read it, and share it with their friends.

Once people see the value you’re giving away for free, they’ll want to pass it on to their friends – and word about you and your business will spread like wildfire through the online community.

Done right, this strategy can give you a strong personal AND professional reputation online, while creating plenty of visibility for you and your business.

And it can drive a ton of new visitors to your website… resulting in a huge increase in sales of your product!

(In fact, you can even use a free viral eBook to promote the eBook you’re selling. The quality of the information you offer in your viral eBook will go a long way to persuading potential customers that your main eBook is well worth the price.)

Best of all, a viral eBook is a FREE advertising tool.

You don’t need to pay to get it in front of potential customers, because they’ll already be sharing it with each other. They’ll email their friends a copy… or send a copy to a coworker through instant messaging… or post it on a blog or forum… and your message will spread across the Internet while you sit back and watch.

Your viral eBook will help you gain a "sales force" of thousands of
enthusiastic people who recommend your eBook to everyone they meet…
helping you build a rock-solid reputation for yourself.

And you
can bet that when these potential customers are in the mood to make a
purchase that’s related to the subject of your eBook, you’re one of the
first sources they’ll think of!

Okay, so you’re excited about using a viral eBook as a marketing tool, but you still have one main question:

… What on earth can you write about???

Here are seven proven ideas you can use to get started creating your own free viral eBook today:

Idea #1: Industry update report

If major changes have recently happened in your industry — or if there are any major developments on the horizon — an industry update report can be a great way to get your name associated with these hot new trends and developments.

This is a great way to make a name for yourself within your industry. And when the trend heats up, you can bet that the number of people reading and sharing your eBook will skyrocket, too.

Idea #2: Industry resource guide

A resource guide can be really helpful to people who are just getting started in your industry, or who are looking for new contacts, ideas, or opportunities.

By writing this type of guide, you can develop a strong reputation for yourself as a reliable "industry insider" whom people can approach when they’re looking for resources. And when the time comes for them to buy a product or service, you can bet that YOU will be the first person they turn to.

Idea #3: Interviews with industry experts

Everyone loves to hear what the leaders in their industry are doing. After all, one of the best — and fastest — ways to become successful is to follow in the footsteps of those who’ve already achieved incredible success.

It’s easy to create an eBook that’s made up of a collection of interviews. All you have to do is send out a few emails to people in your field and ask them to share their experiences with you. People love to talk about what they do.

Plus, with this type of eBook, you’ll have 100% exclusive, original content – which is sure to appeal to your potential readers!

Idea #4: Special tips from industry insiders

This variation on Idea #3 can be another great source of valuable content. Instead of interviewing experts, you simply contact them and ask for their tips on how to solve common problems and overcome obstacles in your field. Then, group the tips by topic and you’ll have a book of "insider tips" that’s sure to be a hit.

Idea #5: "How-to" instruction guides

Of course, if you’re something of an expert yourself, there’s no need to consult with other experts to create your eBook! Go ahead and write your own eBook that teaches people a hard-to-learn skill or helps them get started in your field of expertise.

Idea #6: User manuals for hard-to-use products

If you have expert knowledge or lots of experience with a product that’s hard to use, you could create a start-to-finish user manual or beginner’s guide that helps new users get up and running with the product. If it’s a product that’s just starting to grow in popularity, your eBook will be sure to create a buzz.

Another variation on this idea is to create an eBook that lists alternate uses for common products and explains how people can start using them in new ways. For example, you might write a guide that lists 10 little-known uses for iPods, or 10 creative ways to recycle your old computer equipment.

Idea #7: Reviews of industry products

Product reviews are becoming indispensable resources in the online shopping community. People love to read reviews of products before they buy them – so if you’ve tried out some popular products that would appeal to your market, you’ve got some great information to include in your eBook.

So there are some ideas to get you started… Choose the one that appeals to you most and run with it!

Just remember that when you create your eBook, you’ll want to use software that allows you to…

1. Track the number of copies distributed

– and –

2. Capture reader contact information

After all, you’re going to want to know how popular it is with your audience, and how many people end up sharing it with others.

And of course, you’ll want to stay in contact with the people who have downloaded it. They’ve demonstrated an interest in the information you have to offer — and that means they’ve just identified themselves as great potential customers!

How You Can Start Making Money Online in Only Minutes…
Without Even Designing Your Own Web Site!

Back in the early days of Internet marketing, there wasn’t much you could do to get started with marketing your business online until you actually launched your own web site.

Before you could make money, you had to:

Choose a domain

Set up your hosting

Design your web site

Put it all online

Optimize and test your web site

But maybe you want the chance to "get your feet wet" before you commit to building a web site and getting really serious about marketing your business online.

Or maybe you’re trying to discover your online business niche: the problem you want to solve, the people you want to sell to, and the best possible way to create a viable business. Maybe you don’t want to commit to a web site until you’ve had a better chance to experiment with different ideas.

Well, fortunately for Web newbies, there are more options for getting started with e-commerce than ever before! Now you can actually market and sell products without ever creating your own web site.

Today we’re going to take a look at some of the easiest ways to get started online today:

Start selling on the world’s biggest e-commerce site: www.eBay.com

Start a blog in under five minutes and reach a whole new market on the Internet!

… as well as the quickest way — once you’re ready — to start up a fully functioning web site of your very own.

So can you take advantage of these tools to make your first online profits today? Keep reading to find out!

Start selling on eBay and get access to millions of potential buyers!

eBay.com is the hottest e-commerce site on the Web today, and for good reason:

More than two million people visit eBay.com every single day, spending an average of TWO HOURS navigating through eBay’s pages and listings

More than $1,000 in sales happen on eBay every single second!

72% of eBay users have incomes in excess of $50,000 per year — so they come ready to spend!

And — most important to you — 95% of eBay users are individuals or small businesses. eBay is clearly a place where newbies can go to find instant profit and success.

Getting started on eBay will take you LESS than one hour in total.

Within minutes, you’ll be ready to set up your new auction listings. That means you can see your first online profits TODAY!

And while those listings will cost you only pennies to place on eBay’s pages, you gain immediate access to millions of buyers who are looking for items just like yours.

To get started selling on eBay today, go to: http://cgi5.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SellHub2.

But what items are you going to sell?

This is the real beauty of eBay: there is a market for practically everything on the giant online auction site!

The easiest way to get started is to sell off some old items you no longer need from your basement or storage space. This will allow you to get the hang of writing up a description and creating a listing without having to invest in a product to sell. After all, everything you make from these sales is pure profit — so you have nothing to lose!

If you have a product you are already interested in selling on eBay, check out how other sellers are marketing these products. How much are they going for? What makes their auctions appealing? How many bidders do they attract?

If you’re not sure what you want to sell, try checking out what products are popular at http://pulse.ebay.com.

While you might not want to sell the items that everyone is searching for — guaranteeing you some serious competition — you can sell items RELATED to those products and generate a ton of interest in your listings.

eBay offers free tools for setting up and promoting your listings. Your only expenses on eBay are are your listing fees, plus a small percentage of your selling price.

Getting started on eBay is easy — anyone can do it in less than an hour. But to build a hugely profitable eBay business takes some advanced strategies and techniques.

Once you’re ready to take your eBay business to the next level, I recommend you check out the "eBay Millionaire" secrets we reveal here:

Create your own web site in less than five minutes — and for free! — by starting a blog

Blogs (or weblogs) are frequently updated web sites that show the newest content at the top of the page. The other content usually follows in the order it was posted.

Business blogs have become one of the hottest tools for marketing on the Web today. And while some companies use them to promote their products in addition to their main web sites, you don’t need to have a web site — or even have a business yet — to start a blog.

Anyone can create a blog for free and have an active, functioning presence online in just minutes! Even complete Internet "newbies" find the set-up process simple and easy to understand. You don’t have to know anything about web design or pay a single cent for a domain name or web hosting.

And once you’ve got your blog online, you can start making money instantly! Here’s how…

Start a Google AdSense campaign to generate advertising revenue from your blog. It’s easy to set up an AdSense account, and have targeted ads displayed to your online readers. This can be a great source of revenue, though of course the amount of income you can expect from your AdSense ads will depend on the amount of traffic to your blog. The more traffic you receive, the more people are likely to click through the ads displayed on your site — and the more revenue for you!

Join an affiliate program — or a few affiliate programs! — and start promoting their products on your blog. You don’t even need your own product to get started! You can place ads for your affiliate products on your blog, or write articles or product reviews that contain your affiliate link. You receive a percentage of each sale made when readers click through your links and make a purchase.

Sell products directly from your blog: If you do have a product that you’re ready to sell, you can write articles on your blog telling readers about the benefits of your widget. Once they get excited about what you have to offer and decide to take action, you can direct them with a sidebar button to your PayPal account (which is free and easy to set up.)

With PayPal, they can order your product and pay for it in seconds — even with their credit cards! And it only takes you a few moments to get set up to take payments.

You can create a blog in five minutes, absolutely free, with a free blog hosting service. These are considered the top options for blogging beginners:

Blogger (www.blogger.com)

Recently, one member of the "IMC Insider" community is currently facing a more difficult challenge than most. Mark just lost his entire business in a fire and doesn’t know what to do next in order to begin again.

Well, Mark, if you’re thinking about starting an Internet business, you’re definitely on the right track. Out of any business you could start, an online one is by far the cheapest — and the quickest!

To help you get started on the right foot, here are some tips on how you can get your business up and running in 30 days — and making a profit — with under $200.

Step #1: Use Wordtracker to find a product people already want to buy (1 month = $55.78)

The first thing you need to do is locate a niche market and discover a product you can sell to them.

Wordtracker is a keyword research tool that makes this step as easy as possible. It shows you what people are searching for in the search engines, so you can discover what their problems are and then present them with solutions.

A one-month membership should give you plenty of time to complete this first step. You can sign up for Wordtracker at: http://imc.wordtracker.com

Step #2: Choose a domain and set up your hosting account (3 months = $23.94)

Most hosting companies are dirt cheap these days and will give you a domain name when you sign up.

If you get a beginner account with 1and1Internet, you can get three months of hosting for just $23.94. It’s a great hosting company and will provide you with everything you need to get started.

You can sign up by going to http://www.1and1.com.

Step #3: Build your site using NVU (It’s FREE!)

Although 1and1.com provides you with a basic website builder, you may decide you need more advanced web editing capabilities to customize your site.

If you’re on a tight budget, NVU will do the trick. It offers a great WYSIWYG editor for free. As you get more advanced, you may want to upgrade to Dreamweaver (which you can buy at Adobe.com). But NVU is more than enough to get you started.

You can try it out at: http://www.nvu.com.

Step #4. Set up your payment process using PayPal (It’s FREE!)

If you’re going to sell your own product online, you need to be able to take payment for it! And if you’re counting pennies, PayPal is by far your best option because it’s free and so easy to add to your site.

Be sure to sign up for a "Premier" account. It’s still free but offers some additional features you need as an ebusiness.

Okay… so your site’s up and you’re able to process payments. Now you need visitors!

But how do you get traffic on a shoestring budget?

Step #5: Use pay-per-click engines to drive qualified traffic to your site (1 month starting cost = $100)

Here’s some good news: When you sign up for your hosting account with 1and1.com, you get $100 in free traffic from Yahoo, Google and Microsoft.

If you match that investment, you’ll have $200 to play with — and that amount of money can go a long way if you play your cards right.

Just make sure you don’t blow on your money on high-priced, overly general keywords!

Stick to savvy pay-per-click strategies and bid on cheap, overlooked keywords — and you’ll be able to get quality traffic without draining your bank account.

(Hint: think synonyms and misspellings!)

Step #6: Distribute articles to free directories and content sites (It’s FREE!)

One of my favorite free traffic strategies is simply writing a couple of info-packed articles and posting them in newsletter directories and free content sites where other people can pick them up and republish them.

It’s a great way to get inbound links pointing to your site, so it rockets to the top of the search engine listings. Plus, the articles spread word about your business and help build your credibility as an industry expert, so your visitors will be more likely to buy from you.

Those are just two traffic strategies that cost very little and will get you ramped up and making money quickly. There are lots of others as well — such as blogging, Web 2.0 strategies, affiliate marketing… the list goes on.

That’s what I love about the Internet — it’s so unbelievably cheap to get started.

How cheap? Well, the six steps I listed above will cost you only $179.72 — not a bad investment for a profitable business!

However, there’s one thing you need to know: The secret to setting up a truly successful business in such a short time is to make sure you have the right training and information guiding you along the way.

The entrepreneurs who end up blowing all their money with nothing to show for it are the ones who spend too much on strategies that haven’t been proven to work… or get sucked into "get rich quick" scams… or try to reinvent the wheel.

A small investment in your education will save you a huge amount of money over the long term. Not only will you learn what you need to do to avoid costly mistakes and grow your business in record time — you’ll also discover how to recognize incredible money-saving opportunities when they come your way.

So Mark, I hope that gives you some direction on how to bounce back from the fire and get started with your next business. I’m willing to bet this one will be more successful than your last one ever was! Please drop me a line and let me know how you’re doing. And if there’s anything else I can do to help, just let me know.

To your success,
